The Sharks turned it on in the second half to run out 8-0 winners over Tolland at Rawlings Park.
The Wolves were missing a number of players and Lake Albert made them pay in the second half, piling on six goals after the break.
Watson scored four of those as the floodgates opened for he and his Sharks teammates, a number of whom were playing their old club.
Lake Albert co-coach Chris Ayton said it was only a matter of time before Watson started finding the back of the net on a regular basis.
"Now he's got a couple under his belt, or five under his belt, that should open up the floodgates for him," Ayton said.
"He's too good of a player to not be scoring goals."
After only taking one point from their last two games, Ayton was pleased to see Lake Albert return to form.
"Really happy with the second half," he said.
"I think the first half we got stuck in second gear, the footy wasn't really there but a bit of a talk at half-time and the boys came out and played the sort of footy we want to see."
