Beer and Albury jockey Jordan Mallyon combined to claim the $75,000 TAB Highway Class Three Handicap (1400m) at Randwick with Kiwi import Swagger ($21).
Less than an hour later, Beer trained Tullaghan ($1.95) to win the $12,000 Southern Cross Contractors Maiden Plate (1600m) at Wagga, with Richard Bensley in the saddle.
It capped off a big week, where Beer enjoyed a winning treble at Albury last Monday.
Swagger's win was Beer's third Highway success and clearly a special one.
"It was just fantastic," Beer said.
"To have Jordan ride a Saturday winner for me is one of my biggest thrills in racing.
"I think my staff have officially sacked me from going to the races."
COVID restrictions prevented Beer from travelling to Sydney on Saturday, while he missed the Albury treble when flying back from New Zealand.
Mallyon is Beer's cousin and stable jockey.
