The four-year-old drew the outside of the front row in the Riverina final of the Regional Championships last week but finished off well enough to qualify for the State Final.
Reinsman Blake Jones was left to rue a chequered passage after finishing second behind Father Bob on Sunday.
However after drawing barrier four this time around the Narrandera reinsman is hoping luck will be on his side.
"He was good but just had no luck when the two in front of him locked wheels, shifted out a bit too when they did it and checked him so he lost a bit of his momentum when he had to go pretty wide," Jones said.
"He was probably pretty unlucky in the end but that's racing.
"With a bit of luck we can get the luck tomorrow."
Forever Yin will start from barrier four in the final.
Most of the main chances have drawn inside him but Jones knows he'll have a lot more options this time around.
"We're a lot closer in and while a few of the better ones are inside us hopefully we can slot on the back of them and with a bit of luck they take each other on a little bit," he said.

Forever Yin is one of two horses Jones and partner Ellen Bartley qualified for the $100,000 feature.
After finishing third last week, Nomorelying will start next to Forever Yin.
However there has been a late change with Jackson Painting picking up the drive after Rebecca Bartley was ruled out through COVID restrictions.
The Victorian driver took the drive for her sister last week and was set to make the trip once more before the lockdown was brought in on Thursday.
"Beck was going to until everything happened but Jack will drive him now," Jones said.
Painting will also steer Harry Ovens for David Kennedy in the consolation of the series.
He will start from barrier two.
The Riverina runners have the shortest back up after Bathurst, Newcastle and Menangle all held group ones last week.
However Jones is pleased with how both came through their runs.
"We didn't do a lot with them but they both went out in the paddock together on Monday and were bucking their brands off," he said.
"They got through the run pretty good so it's all systems go."
Father Bob has drawn barrier six for former Young trainer Mark Fletcher.
Reinsman Will Rixon dedicated his first group one win to grandfather Tony Turnbull, who died hours after his breakthrough success.
Forever Yin is currently a $6.50 fourth favourite after drifting from his opening quote of $4.80.
Ilikemebettor ($2.40) has been backed into favouritism for Belinda and Luke McCarthy ahead of Send It for Brad Hewitt at $3.20.
Father Bob is an $11 chance, on the fifth line of betting, while Nomorelying has drifted out to $41.
