TRENT Castles put on a forward play clinic so impressive it shocked Mangoplah-Cookardinia United-Eastlakes coach Jeremy Rowe in Saturday's 23.9 (147) to 10.7 (67) win at Narrandera on Saturday.

After booting nine goals in last week's win over Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong, Castles put 11 on the Eagles to take his tally to 32 in just four games this season.
The Goannas remain unbeaten through five games and handed young ruckman Zac Hanrahan a senior debut with Sam de Sousa unavailable.
But it was Castles who again took the limelight.
"After I'd seen him play three really good weeks of footy I thought he was pretty much hitting his ceiling, but he went to another level today," Rowe said.
"His one-one-one contests were insanely good, I can't put it any other way. His ability to get separation, to manipulate and manoeuvre his man around to the point where he could get to the ball at the critical moment was something to behold really.
"HIs forward craft in a basic sense was elite and it was a credit to our guys further tup the ground, the delivery he's getting is really good.
"We're also making sure we don't blaze away just because we've got Trent. The amount of inside 50 marks other players got today because they were trying to outnumber Trent, it shows we're not a one trick pony.
"If you overcorrect against us at the moment, other guys can hurt you."

Although the Goannas were expected to comfortably account for the Eagles, Rowe felt they took another step toward finding their best.
"We're really determined at the moment that regardless of who we're playing, that week to week we can reflect on the game and really nominate areas we improved.
"Narrandera were game and up for the contest, and probably beat us to the footy with their effort early in the game.
"Most impressive was the way we moved the footy. There's an art to playing a big ground like Narrandera, the way we were able to get overlaps and run and carry and kick the ball to our forwards in one-on-one contests was great."
