Micallef was at the helm as Uroc Skinny Jeans led all the way to book her place in the Regional Championships final at Riverina Paceway on Sunday.
Rick Burnett's mare made it two wins for the week after also saluting at Young on Tuesday.
Micallef was impressed with her efforts.
"I can't be happier for the trainer as he's done an awesome job with her and to her credit she's racing a bit up in grade but stuck on well," Micallef said.
She has drawn seven, outside of the two emergencies, in the final.
With 31 winners in the first half of the season, Micallef has already bettered his figures from the last, which spanned 18 months.
A lot of the success has been in the Western District and Micallef is thrilled to be getting plenty of opportunities.
"I'm getting heaps of good opportunities at the moment off Steve (Turnbull) and everyone in the bush so it's awesome," he said.
