Emergency services were called out to the accident at Carrathool, around 50 kilometres east of Hay, at noon.
The driver, a man believed to be aged in his mid-40s, was initially trapped but managed to free himself from the cab, Jason Wall from the MIA Zone Rural Fire Service said.

A spokesperson for NSW Ambulance confirmed the man had sustained minor head injuries and was being treated at the scene. He was later transported to Griffith Base Hospital.
Police, paramedics and firefighters from Hay responded to the crash, with the Hay State Emergency Service also called out but stood down soon after.
Local RFS crews also attended.
Motorists should expect minor delays and exercise caution around the scene, with eastbound traffic largely impacted and stop-slow conditions in place.
