After two twins to start the season, the Boiled Lollies lost their next two, but ensured they remain in the top four with a 30-15 win over premiers Ag College.

Green led the way with another strong performance.

"It was a tough, physical game but we managed to get over the top of them so we were pretty happy," coach Rob Cleland said.

"We haven't really been able to put our strongest team on the park yet so it is pretty pleasing we're there or thereabouts in most games."

With a number of injury concerns, Cleland believes this week's bye has come at a perfect time for the club.

Especially with a clash against unbeaten Griffith to come.

The Blacks made it five wins from as many games with a comprehensive performance against CSU.

Despite having playmaker Amelia Lolotonga suspended for eight weeks by the Southern Inland judiciary, Griffith extended their strong start to the season by keeping the Reddies scoreless.

Eliza Baddock crossed for a double in the 31-0 win.

Meanwhile Albury bounced back from their first loss of the season to take a 42-0 win over Tumut while Waratahs scored a 44-5 win over Leeton.

The two victors will clash on Saturday with second place up for grabs.

Both Hay and Leeton will be looking for their first win when they clash at Hay No.1 Oval, CSU heads to Tumut while Ag College hosts Griffith.
