The last market was in March 2020, but the stallholders returned on Sunday with a bang.
Founder of River and Wren Jennie Meiklejohn said while no firm numbers are in yet, it was safe to say hundreds attended.
"I had no idea what to expect and I am just over the moon with the way the day went," she said.
"The feedback I am getting from traders is that everyone was happy to see them back again.
"It's a beautiful creative community and a very supportive one as well. A lot of people ran out of stock, that's always a good thing."
Ms Meiklejohn said she is unsure if the event will go ahead in June, but they are 100 per cent locked in for the August market to celebrate River and Wren's seventh birthday.
Carolyn McClintock is the owner of Lampshades by Caz and was thrilled to be able to have a shopfront at the River and Wren Market for the first time.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Her business came about after Ms McClintock hunted online to replace some lampshades, only to find there was a gap in the market.
So, she decided to fill it.
"I have got a long association with sewing, and I am quilter so this seemed like a natural progression," Ms McClintock said.
"River and Wren is so popular so you have to apply, so I am really excited to be here."
