Despite having very little of the ball in the first half as the Bulls went out to a 18-0 lead, Kangaroos got themselves back into the contest with two tries to Timoci Vatubuli.
However they couldn't sustain the brief moment.
"It felt like we were coming out of our own end for the whole first half before we got a couple of opportunities late," Woolford said.
"We took them and were well in the game at half time but again we came out into the second half and dropped the ball twice coming out of our own end.

Kangaroos are hopeful for good news for Vatubuli after he received treatment by paramedics.
