Two people are in critical condition and police are appealing for dashcam footage after a crash involving a trailer-towing 4WD and a truck on the Hume Highway on Wednesday.

A man and a woman remain in hospital following the crash, which occurred near Burma Road at Table Top around 4.30pm.
Police were told a Hino truck and a Toyota Landcruiser, which was towing a trailer, were both travelling south when the crash occurred.
The Toyota, with the box trailer attached, rolled several times before the trailer broke free of the vehicle.

The occupants of the vehicle, a man aged 80 and a woman aged 74, were treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Albury Hospital in critical condition.
The 51-year-old man at the wheel of the Hino was arrested and taken to hospital for mandatory testing before being released pending further inquiries.
A crime scene was established by officers from the Murray River Police District as crash investigation unit officers examined the site.
The Hume Highway's southbound lanes were closed for some time as emergency services descended on the scene, with traffic diverted at Holbrook for around 90 minutes before the crash site was deemed passable.
Investigators are appealing for anyone who was travelling on the Hume Highway at Table Top between 4.30pm and 5pm on Wednesday, or who may have dashcam footage, to make contact by calling Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
