POLICE have revealed the car which crashed and caught alight in Wagga at the weekend had been on their radar earlier that morning.

Officers saw the red Holden Commodore travelling above the posted speed limit just before 4am on Saturday along Red Hill Road in Tolland.
A pursuit was initiated with the vehicle, but had to be terminated a short time later for safety reasons.
Just after 4am, the Commodore was located abandoned and alight on Anne Street, Tolland, where it had crashed into a home's brick fence.
The blaze was extinguished by officers from Fire and Rescue NSW.
Investigations are continuing, and anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
