THEY couldn't hit the side of a barn door, but inaccurate goalkicking couldn't prevent Coolamon from celebrating Jamie Maddox's 250th game and their return to Kindra Park in style with a 11.23 (89) to 9.7 (61) win over Collingullie-Glenfield Park on Saturday.

Jeremy Maslin and Jake Barrett kicked three goals apiece as the Hoppers backed up last week's round one win over Turvey Park to remain unbeaten.
The hosts led just 4.12 (36) to 4.4 (28) at the main break, but booted four goals to one in the third term to build a winning buffer.
Jeremy Sykes was superb through the midfield in his second game for the club, while Zach Oliver and Hayden Bradley were also strong for Coolamon.

Nick Perryman was the standout for the Demons with five goals, while Jayden Klemke was also influential.
Co-coach Barrett said they were rapt to make Maddox's milestone a memorable one for the club stalwart.
"Everyone was really happy to get the win for 'Ox'. He's a legend of the club and everyone was happy to get over the line for him," Barrett said.
"We lowered our eyes and used the corridor, which was really good. The second half we played some simpler football and it showed.
"The first half we wanted to score every time we went forward, we just settled it down in the second half and kept possession.
"We had a lot of inside 50s and just didn't convert very well, we have to focus on that this week."
