Valeri was issued with the card during the third quarter and reported for attempting to strike a TRYC opponent in the Farrer League game at Victoria Park.
Because it was a low level offence, Valeri was offered a reprimand and is free to face North Wagga this Saturday.
It shapes as a big game at home for the Blues, who have lost their opening two games to Charles Sturt University (CSU) and the Magpies.
