The hosts booted three unanswered goals in the last quarter to ice a 16.6 (102) to 10.9 (69) win, with Joe Perryman kicking four goals.

Youngster Harry Wichman was among the Demons' best on first grade debut on the wing, and key player Nick Perryman said it was a good building block for the side to progress from.
"It was good to get back in front of the local crowd, it's a country social event we've missed," he said.
"Obviously not playing for such a long time it was going to be scrappy and they've got a few quality players we had to focus on.
"It took us a bit to get on top and there's still a bit to work on, but there's good signs.
"It was a good contest all day, they (Griffith) will beat sides throughout the year no doubt."
Jayden Klemke was also among the hosts' best in his return from a knee injury.
