After winning the last three premierships, The Rock-Yerong Creek's dynasty looks to be over after a heavy 52-20 road defeat to East Wagga-Kooringal.
The Magpies have lost some key players, including spearheads Emma O'Leary (not playing in league) and Sarah O'Leary (North Wagga), who have captained or coached the side in their three flags.
After regaining some experienced heads including Emma McAuley, Chelsea Walker and Georgia Matthews, Temora looks well placed to build on their third-placed finish after the 2019 regular season with a tense 40-38 home win over North Wagga.
