Middle distance gun Devries set two new marks, clocking 5:03.81 in the 13 years boys 1500m and 2:34.69 in the 800m.
Cook raised the bar in the senior boys high jump with a soaring 1.85m effort.
Bailey Hilton also leapt into the records, jumping 6.08m in the 16 years boys long jump.
Charlotte Priest broke the 15 years girls 800m (2:34.38), on her way to winning the age championship.
With sister Harriet, as well as Ava Spencer, Inez McPherson and Peter Ucin also winning age championships, they helped steer Sherrin to a narrow and thrilling house win over Carroll.
The result wasn't decided until after the relays, when they finished six points in front, giving Sherrin all three carnival trophies.
They'd already started the day on a high, according to sports coordinator Nathan Irvine.
"Students from all houses competed with fantastic spirit and the sheer number of competitors who participated in track and field events is to be commended," Irvine said.
"House pride was on the line and the house leaders and captains led the way from the beginning with some very entertaining themes in the House Chants and a win to Sherrin house kicking off a day of close competition."
AGE CHAMPIONS:

13yrs: Inez McPherson, Peter Ucin
14yrs: Charlotte Worrell-Barry, Kade Lyons
15yrs: Charlotte Priest, Charles Masterson
16yrs: Ruby Doherty, Angus Walsh
