Representatives from the Wagga RSL sub-branch, NSW Police and Wagga City Council will meet today to prepare a coronavirus plan for the event, which will be presented to the NSW Ministry of Health.
Speaking at Monday's council meeting, council's director of community Janice Summerhayes said spectators and crowd control would fall under police jurisdiction.

Local RSL sub-branch president David Gardiner said he received confirmation on Monday from state member for Wagga Joe McGirr's office that the march could proceed.
"It's great. We're excited about it and we'd welcome everyone to participate as usual," he said.
"We did get the news that we were allowed to have up to 3000 people in the march and we weren't responsible for the people that lined up as spectators, so that made our job much easier and we can go ahead and organise the march."
Mr Gardiner said marchers may have to wear masks and check in before the event using a QR code.
This year's event was thought to be going ahead without the traditional march down Baylis Street, after last year's public Anzac Day events were cancelled due to the pandemic.
Mr Gardiner said last year's quieter, more private ceremony went "as best as it could", but he was looking forward to the march's return.
