The Cats claimed their third straight second grade premiership with a five-wicket win over St Michaels in their decider at McPherson Oval.
After winning the toss, St Michaels openers Marty Loy (30) and Eric Koetz (20) hoped to set a significant total, only for Cats bowlers Louis Grigg (2-25), Henry Matear (2-33) and Isaac Devries (2-23) to continually disrupt Saints' momentum.
St Michaels were kept to 8-144 from their 40 overs, a total Wagga City went past with three overs to spare and five wickets in hand.
Hugh and Tim Jenkins put on 30 for the first wicket before falling to Ian Donohue (who finished with 2-39).
But Sean Gaynor steadied the Cats' ship. Coming in with his side at 3-47, he top-scored with 34 from 49 deliveries, before Daniel O'Reilly (21no off 39) and Luke Naumann (20no off 21) steered the reigning premiers home.
Captain Tim Jenkins is the only player to feature in their three straight premierships.
He was rapt in the way his bowling attack ensured a reachable target but conceded it looked a little shaky briefly and said O'Reilly and Naumann were superb in seeing them to victory.
Jenkins said after the Cats won the club championship, they were thrilled to get some premiership spoils as well.
Wagga City were also St Michaels' nemesis in thirds, with another five-wicket win in a very similar fashion at Bolton Park.
After bowling Saints out for 140 in less than 33 overs, the Cats lost just five wickets on the way to victory, with three overs to spare.
Kooringal Colts had a seven-wicket win in fourth grade. After dismissing Lake Albert Maroon for 53 runs in the 17th over, they cruised to victory, bringing up 3-56 in 16.2 overs.
