Colin Webster, 58, was driving his motorcycle about 6.10pm on March 5 when it collided with a Toyota Yaris at the intersection of Bourke Street and Bruce Street in Tolland.

Mr Webster was ejected from his bike as a result, and treated for head injuries and a fractured wrist before being taken to hospital in a serious condition.

Now, his daughter Mikaela Webster said he remains in a critical condition.

"My dad is in ICU and has been since the accident, he had surgery on his broken wrist," she said.

"He has all broken ribs on one side, a broken sternum and multiple broken discs in his back, he had a hole in his lip and now has a collapsed lung and pneumonia."

Mr Webster also had a bleed on his brain, according to his daughter, but "no signs of brain damage".

Police have since appealed for witnesses of the accident as investigations are underway, and Ms Webster said she hopes to have answers soon.

"I'm not sure what has happened as my dad doesn't remember, but he was in two-lane traffic going straight and had somehow got hit," she said.

The driver of the Toyota Yaris, a 21-year-old woman, was treated for minor injuries and taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
