Kooringal had gone through the preliminary round robin competition, including a 12-1 win over Wagga High.
However with a disciplined performance in the batting box and steady pitching from Isabella Weir to Sophie Gooden, the Wagga High side turned the tables convincingly to win 8-0, and seal the trophy for the first time since 2008.
Kooringal batted first but, despite safe hits from Kealey Bettens and Makaide Gale, no runs were scored.
Wagga's third dismissal saw a perfect relay from Charlotte Waring to Sophie Gooden via Leila Wadley to tag Bettens centimetres short of the plate.
A safe hit to Wadley and smart base-running saw Wagga take an early one-run lead.
A string of safe hits in Wagga High's second innings to Isabella Weir, Ava Weir and Wadley saw Wagga add four more runs to their tally.
Kooringal loaded up the bases in their third innings, but once again Wagga managed to keep them scoreless with tidy fielding.
Waring hit a single to left field in Wagga's third innings, but for the one and only time in the game they were shut out.
Ruby Thornely and Gale had safe hits in Kooringal's fourth innings, but still couldn't break the run drought.
In the bottom of the fourth Wagga batted soundly again with hits to Wadley, Ava Weir and Nichola Hilton contributing to a further three runs.
Time was running short as Kooringal had to score nine runs in a hurry if they were to prevent the upset.
Wagga put paid to any comeback when they, yet again, shut out Kooringal, leaving the result as a comprehensive 8-0 win to Wagga High.
In the consolation play-off for third and fourth, Mater Dei College proved too strong for TRAC, winning 20-2.
