Instead only two of the 18 rounds will have a full complement of four first grade games, with the vast majority to see two clubs have a bye.
Southern Inland rugby manager Jack Heffernan revealed a desire to keep clubs at the one venue has created a unique draw.
"We approached it by starting with second grade, as it has the most teams, which works into the women's quite well with the one bye on each side of the draw," Heffernan said.
"Working back to first grade we presented the clubs with a few options and the general feedback was they would rather extra byes to keep teams together rather than separating first grade and second grade. That's the path we went down."
The Southern Inland season will start on April 10 with premiers Wagga City travelling to Leeton, CSU hosts Albury and Waratahs face off against Ag College.
Both Griffith, who did not take part in any grade last season, and Tumut have the bye.
The Blacks appear to be worse off in the unusual draw with three straight weeks where first grade doesn't play in the middle of the season.
However president Dan McGreal believes it will have a number of benefits for the club.
"We're in a slight predicament with the Exies over ground availability as ideally we want to play as many games as we could on the number one," McGreal said.
"Failing number one we have to go to number two, which is fine, but there are a few occasions that number two is booked so the way they've got the draw set up we play all but one of our games on the main oval.
"With the comp structured the way it is in first grade unfortunately we have a few weeks where we won't be playing but that will give our guys a bit of chance to recharge the batteries and hit the second round hard."
McGreal is pleased with the numbers the club is attracting to training with plans to lock in their third grade set up shortly.
Southern Inland will continue with their top four finals system, with the grand final on September 4.
