A Riverina woman who allegedly accepted thousands of dollars in donations after claiming she had terminal bowel cancer will fight the charges laid against her.

Kaneesha Lee Williams fronted Griffith Local Court on Wednesday and pleaded not guilty to four counts of dishonestly obtaining financial advantage by deception.
The 24-year-old was charged last year after officers from the Murrumbidgee Police District commenced an investigation into reports a woman was engaging in suspicious activities.

Police allege Ms Williams created an online fundraising page in January last year, which claimed she had just three months to live.
The campaign raised about $9000 from various fundraisers and community rallies before Ms Williams allegedly claimed she had been cured.
The case returns to court in April.
