Firstly she combined with Wangaratta trainer Dan McCarthy as Nothernero made it a hat-trick of wins.
Freshened up after two wins at Albury, Northernero appreciated the four-kilogram claim on Williams to take out the Straight Up It Class 2 Hcp (1000m).
Two races later Williams helped Kyneton trainer Marita Lawson score a breakthrough win with Tantalizer.
Coming off two placings, the mare delivered at start 18.
Willliams also finished third in the SDRA Country Championship Preview (1400m) on Thistledo for David Blundell.
Donna Scott's Halo Warrior prevailed in a tight finish.
