The Saints are fourth on the Wagga Cricket ladder two points behind Wagga RSL and only four ahead of Kooringal Colts and Lake Albert.
With five rounds left until finals, the clash at Rawlings Park shapes a good opportunity for both teams.
"Going into the last round, as a team we mainly want to beat the teams around us," Frostick said.
"We want to win as many games as possible but the ones against those around us on the table mean more than the ones at the top.
"It is important to try to get this game on not only for us but for Lake Albert as well.
"It's a massive 'eight-pointer' and whoever wins is going to be a massive chance to get into finals."
Only four points are up for grabs, but Frostick believes they could be crucial by the end of the month.
"We either take advantage and go further ahead or they come back into it and it makes it harder for us," he said. "You can look at it as a double win in a way."
St Michaels welcome back Blake Larkin, Nick Fahey and Justin Ward back into the side.
After going winless through the Twenty20s, Frostick hopes a change of pace will help the team.
