Adelong's Amelia Hassett, Temora's Ruby Watterson and Cootamundra's Alex Oliver have advanced to the national 3x3 championships after taking under-18 gold at the state titles in Sydney on January 23.
After starting the campaign slowly with a 7-0 loss, 'Triple Threat' recovered to win their next two games before accounting for top ranked team Bricklayers from North Sydney 8-6.
They then saved their best performance for when it counted most in the final, thrashing Port Macquarie entrant Grange 10-1.
This year the trio will play for Cootamundra's under-18 team in the Junior Premier League against Coffs Harbour, Gosford, Maitland, Illawarra and Newcastle.
Hassett and Oliver are both members of the state under-18 team and were part of a Riverina side which won a 3x3 event in November.
The trio also finished runner-up at the CLB3x3 event at Wagga in December, competing under the Riverina Bobcats banner.
The girls will compete at the national titles in April, with a venue still to be confirmed.
Watterson's mother, Leanne, said she's hopeful the Blaze will return as soon as possible after a lack of numbers forced their withdrawal from this year's Waratah League competition.
"That's the beauty of 3x3, you only need three people," she said.
"It's important for it (Blaze) to continue. They've played since under-12s so it's important to follow it through, keep their friendships up and their training."
