Senior boys age champion Harry Wheatley capped a strong day by eclipsing the previous open 100m freestyle benchmark, while Rex Benecke (nine years boys 50m freestyle) was the other individual record breaker.
Tatton house also set a new senior boys 50m freestyle relay record, while Red Hill took out overall house honours on the day.
Sports coordinator Caroline Stewart said one of the big highlights of the day was the return of parents to the stands after a long absence in school sport.
"It was just great to have parents back supporting and watching their kids swim," she said.
"It makes a big difference for the students when they're competing in sport events.
"Participation was great and we were really lucky with the weather."
South Wagga Public School and Mater Dei Catholic College are due to hold their swimming carnivals on Thursday.
