Around 300 children will converge on Equex Stadium next weekend for the fifth edition of the Wagga Futsal Cup.
Teams from Griffith, the South Coast and Western branch will take on Wagga's best in the two-day tournament.
"It's our fifth edition and we've grown again," Wagga Futsal's Sam Gray said.
"We've added an under 19 division to it this year. So we've got 10s, 12s, 14s, 16s and 19s. The 12s and 14s are full already. The 16s have got one, maybe two spaces left. The 19s are the same.
"Everyone enjoys futsal. I think its a common theme, anyone you talk to that's played it, enjoys it don't they? It's very popular."
Play will begin at 9am on both days, Saturday and Sunday February 6-7, and push through until 6.30pm on the first day, before concluding around 5.30pm the next.
NSW Futsal manager Jordan Guerreiro will be special guest.
Gray believes the Wagga Futsal Cup can pave the way for other sports to hold similar events in the future.
"We're pleased, we're the biggest Cup competition outside of metropolitan areas in NSW. It's pretty good, we enjoy it as well," he said.
"The chance for Wagga to host regional events is growing all of the time. For Futsal, being the quickest growing sport, we're blazing a trail. If our gala weekend works, we're quite happy to give our plans across to the other sports. Look this has worked, here's what we did and let basketball have it, netball, volleyball, lets get more sports here."
Puma has come on board as a sponsor this year, while Deploy Football will be the official ball provider.
Futsal Wagga has also extended an invitation to the Multicultural Council to enter a team after holding a successful come-and-try day last week.
Gray expects the Wagga teams to hold their own against the visitors.
"All divisions will be competitive. Under 16s and under 14s will be the ultra competitive ones," he said.
