A MAN has died in the Snowy Valleys after crashing his motorcycle on Sunday afternoon.

Emergency services attended the scene on the Snowy Mountains Highway near Blowering Dam about 11.45am, where a man came off his motorbike onto gravel.
In a statement, NSW Police confirmed the man's death.
"Officers attached to Riverina Highway Patrol and NSW Ambulance paramedics attended," they stated.
"Despite efforts to revive the man, he was pronounced dead a short time later."
A rescue helicopter was also tasked to attend the incident from Orange, while the road was closed to traffic in both directions until about 3pm.
