THE Magic Millions sales are worlds apart from the Tumut races, but Wagga trainer Gary Colvin will have one eye on Saturday's Tumut meeting from the Gold Coast when Bravado Lass and The Chaplain square off in the Tumut Mile.

Bravado Lass looks well placed stepping up to her preferred trip after finding the line well to finish fourth in her last start at Wagga over 1400m on Christmas Eve, despite being three wide throughout.
Five of the eight-year-old mare's six career victories have come over the mile, and will have the services of red hot jockey Blaike McDougall as he looks to secure his first win at Tumut.
"She's been knocking on the door and should run out a strong mile this time around," Colvin said.
"She's a little mare and hopefully she gets around the tight track out there OK. The mile is definitely her go and she's very fit now, so it gives her every chance.
"It's a good race for her and she looks well placed on Saturday, and obviously having a leading jockey on board helps."
The Chaplain only battled on fairly when fifth at Wagga over the mile on January 7.
"We've tried him over 1800 but we don't think he quite gets it, but he's down in grade and it looks like it should be a good race for him," Colvin said.
Riverina trainers are heavily represented in the feature of the day, with Tumut trainer Kerry Weir's Crocodile Cod rated a big hope of saluting on his home track again after securing his second victory in 24 starts over the mile on Boxing Day as a $1.80 favourite.
All three career wins for the Tickinover, trained by Gundagai's David Blundell have come at Tumut, including back-to-back wins early last year.
Fellow Gundagai trainer Rod Weston is also represented by My Kind.
Colvin is also hoping for a little more from Manhattan Zip in the Class Two Handicap (1400m).
The six-year-old has been below par over distances from 1600 to 2000m in recent starts, and Colvin is hopeful the shorter distance will help him find form.
"He's been a bit disappointing but we'll get him back to 1400 and see how he goes after a freshen up," he said.
"It looked like we were going to get up in ground with him but he's let me down a little bit, so we'll bring him back in trip."
