After a second on debut, the Ben Talbot-trained runner went significantly quicker to take out the Ganmain Bakery Maiden (320m).
Not even a chequered run could run was even to hinder the greyhound Talbot hopes can develop into a nice dog.
"He's a good pup," Talbot said. "It's only his second start, he's a littermate to Malebo and I think he is going to be pretty handy by the look of him."
Talbot thought Tommy Town was unlucky in his debut effort, and despite not things going all his own way ain start two he still proved strong.
Downing Ralph ($10) by over three lengths, Tommy Town ($2.80 fav) clocked 18.33 seconds, almost a second faster than his first effort.
"He was unlucky last week, got checked and only just got beat," Talbot said.
"He got the run this week and I knew when he hit the front she was all over."
Peter Dooner also scored an early double with Got A Jimmy and Got A Clue.
