After being downed in a photo finish in the opening event of the day, Weir struck back late to take out the final two races on the card at Tumut on Saturday.
Billo Road ($8.00) took out the Switched On Electrical Benchmark 50 Handicap (1400m), before Crocodile Cod ($1.80) won the PRD Nationwide Tumut Benchmark 50 Handicap (1600m).
Crocodile Cod survived a protest to win and also provided Megan Creed a winning double in the saddle.
"It was a really good day," Weir said.
"All the horses are going good, touch wood. Even if they're not winning, they're not getting beaten far.
"I honestly don't think the team could be going any better."
Weir was equally pleased for Creed, who enjoyed her first wins since returning from more than 12 months off with the birth of her son.
"Before (Saturday) she's only had three rides back from pregnancy. It's going to take her a bit, to get her eye back in," Weir said.
"She rode them all well."
The pair went close to a treble with Deemed Corrupt ($3.80) being edged out by Todd Smart's Underthespotlight ($2.20) in the first.
Graham Byatt also enjoyed success, combining with apprentice Hannah Williams on Lennox Road ($2.60) to win the Elliott's Landscaping Supplies Benchmark 50 Handicap (1000m).
It was a successful day for the Tumut club with a 1200-strong crowd turning out for the annual raceday.
