Robert Gimour, 75, went missing from Wallendbeen overnight.
A Cootamundra police spokesperson said he wandered into a nearby farm in the morning, and the farmer found him and saw him returned home safe to his family.

Riverina Police are asking for assistance from the public to find a man who went missing from Wallendbeen north of Cootamundra overnight.
Robert Gilmour, 75, was last seen at his home in King Street yesterday and nobody has seen or heard from him since.
Police and his family have concerns for the man's welfare and have commenced a search for him.

Mr Gilmour is believed to be travelling on an old-style maroon bicycle wearing a blue and white helmet.
He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue/grey T-shirt, a navy-blue jumper and a black jacket.
Mr Gilmour has been described as being of medium build between 175 and 180 centimetres tall, grey-haired with hazel eyes and of Caucasian appearance.
