Not only does the 15-year-old play against his own age group on Fridays, but he's been in great form with the bat for the Blues' first grade outfit.
After making his debut as a 13-year-old, Scott has really stepped up for South Wagga and up until an uncharacteristic two in the last round had an average hovering around 100.
It's now 79 after scoring 234 runs in seven innings this season. He's also taken seven wickets.
His form led to his senior Riverina selection and now Scott is planning on hitting the highway to take part in the Green Shield.
He made 75 in his first match for Penrith in Sydney's premier under 16s competition before the COVID outbreak on the Northern Beaches saw two matches postponed heading into Christmas.
The young gun is just trying to get as much cricket as he can.
"Performance wise it has been good and with all the opportunities I've been given it is definitely good to test how I'm going at different levels of cricket," Scott said.
"I'm pretty happy at the moment and would like to see if I can even keep the form going through the season."
Scott was pleased with how he started off in the Green Shield after a number of false starts.
Originally he was looking to play for Campbelltown but their trials kept getting washed out so we linked with Penrith instead.
His first match was also threatened by the weather but the all-rounder was pleased to get into the middle.
"It was a good game," Scott said.
"We were meant to have a trial match during the week but with the rain it got cancelled and Dad I didn't think we would get a game in as they wouldn't have time to prepare a wicket but they did.
"It was a really nice ground and a really good experience.
"It is a good level of credit and it is good to test how I've been going."
As if that's not enough cricket, Scott has also played in Canberra this season.
It's an option Scott is considering doing more of in the future.
"I had a couple of Twenty20 games and it was good fun," he said. "Maybe when I get older I might go over there more frequently."
Scott's Green Shield total is his highest of the season with an unbeaten 73 his best for the Blues so far.
He's only been dismissed three times for South Wagga in first grade this season with another half century to his credit.
He's out to make amends after being caught and bowled by Daniel Coates in his side's big win over St Michaels on Saturday.
"It was my lowest score of the season but I suppose you can't be scoring runs all the time," Scott said.
"It wasn't too good but hopefully I can bounce back next time we play in January."
The Wagga Cricket season resumes on January 30 following the completion of the T20 tournament.
The Blues first match in the shorter format is against Wagga RSL on January 8.
