Mick Wainwright from In Motion Fitness has been running kayak excursions for a few years, but after deciding to "ramp up" the campaign he has been flooded with responses.
"It has been amazing," he said.
"I fill the trips up within five or six hours of posting about them.
"I almost can't keep up with it at the moment."
Mr Wainwright attributed the interest to a renewed love of nature as people have been forced to appreciate what's in their own backyard thanks to COVID-19.
"People have gone through a bit and were starting to get stir crazy, so they are keen to get out and about," he said.
"It's also the perfect way for people who have not done it before to test it out and we provide the safety aspect for them.
"Everybody loves it and everybody is raving about it which is great."
Mr Wainwright said it is beautiful to see Wagga from a different perspective. He added, paddling down the river is the best way to exercise and relax.
