Roxy the Jack Russell was found with her head caught in the hole of an old Ute chassis rail on Monday, unable to escape.
But thanks to the crew at Wagga Volunteer Rescue Association, they were able to cut away a portion on the metal and take little Roxy to the Moorong Veterinary Clinic where Dr John was able to help her free.
In other news:
It was a busy day of animal rescues for the Wagga VRA, who went on to help out a bird stuck in a tree.
WIRES called in the rescue crew's assistance after an injured crow took shelter in a tree along the Wiradjuri Walking Track.
The bird was able to be retrieved and handed over to the care of WIRES.
