A winner of half of his eight starts, plus two placings, Wagga trainer Ben Talbot is hoping he can develop into a nice greyhound.
"Belfast Express is going for three in a row and is going quite good at the moment," Talbot said.
"I took him to Wentworth Park and he wasn't quite ready for it after a couple of runs at Goulburn when we stepped him up to the 500 and while he's still a little green he's won four now and is starting to put it all together."
Belfast Express won by over five lengths at Wagga last week.
However this time around Ultimate Speed has drawn inside him.
"This week with Ultimate Speed drawn inside him it might be a little bit different but we will see how it goes," Talbot said.
"We got a bit of a lucky break on the home turn when they came together a little bit and he got away but he's getting better and stronger as he's not yet two years old.
"We'll just keep him going and as he matures I think you'll find he improves quite a bit."
Talbot lines up seven greyhounds across the 10-race card.
He's hoping to start the night off well.
"I think my dog in the first Malebo can go close to going one better than last time and I like the little one dog in race two (Andy's Me Dad)," Talbot said.
He also lines up two chances in the PG Hartley Building 5th Grade (320m) with Gobsmacked the more fancied from the kennel.
The meeting has been pushed back due to the hot temperature forecast with the first race now to be run at 7.05pm.
