WAGGA Blaze coach Peter O'Leary is confident there will be enough player interest in forming a team for next season after coronavirus forced them to take this year off.

The Blaze won the previous two Waratah League division two championships before the competition was eventually cancelled in 2020.
O'Leary said enticing players back who may have moved on to other sports during the hiatus could be a challenge.
But he is confident the player depth is there to set their sights on a third straight title should Basketball NSW come up with a suitable league to compete in.
"We've basically had a year off. Now it's a situation where we've got to regenerate interest and see what we can put together," he said.
"But there's a lot of prospective talent out there, and most of the players from the previous year are interested in playing again.
"When you have a year off and other sports are playing, it tends to lure them away to play with their mates so that's definitely going to be one of the issues.
"It will be a bit of a rebuild but there's some amazing talent with some young ones coming through from across the region."
A handful of former players who have returned to the region have expressed their interest in playing, including point guard Prue Walsh.
Club stalwart Zac Maloney last week confirmed he will be player-coach for Wagga Heat in their return to court next year.
