SIRU sit on top of the women's standings after progressing through the opening round undefeated in Canberra on Saturday.
SIRU conceded just two tries for the day as they proved too good for Royals (34-7), Gungahlin (46-0), Wests (34-7) and Uni-Norths (17-0).
Women's coach Elliot Barrett could not help but be impressed by his team's efforts.
"It was a pretty impressive effort from the girls," Barrett said.
"Everyone in the squad put in a really good performance off the back of what were really good performances in Hay and Leeton, which got them selected. Before the weekend I was a little bit worried about how they would gel as a team but they did really well with that. It was quite impressive."
Tiffany Furniss led from the front in defence, while Tess Staines, Mele Lolotonga and Delilah Crighton impressed in attack.
Ua Ravu, who was named captain, was injured in the opening minutes of the first game, and along with Sophia Kirkby and Megan Pearson are potential inclusions for this weekend.
The men's team will be boosted by the inclusion of Dylan McLachlan, Steven Tracey and Pat Logan for Saturday's final round.
The trio were unavailable last weekend but will be welcome inclusions, according to coach Jonno Andreou.
"They will boost our backline, which is what we need," Andreou said.
"We started off well against Royals, obviously a powerhouse of Canberra rugby, so that was a good start. We played Gungahlin second and they've obviously got some talented players in their team, a couple of youth sevens players and I think the rest of the team was made up by Brumbies Academy players. We just had a bad start and couldn't catch up. And then we beat Uni North in the end so it was a good start and good finish leading into next week.
"Obviously we haven't played together as a team before so we're still connecting and we'll bring a couple more people in from the squad."
The men opened with a 28-12 win over Royals before going down to Gungahlin (26-7) and Wests (26-5). They finished the day with a 33-7 win over Uni-Norths.
Mesulame Navakayala, Tuwame Turaganivalu and Noa Rabici were standouts.
