As was the case against the Warriors in the previous round, the Saints were missing personnel, not the least of which was coach Tim Bourke.
However, take nothing away from the young Turvey team, the members of which all performed well.
Saints started their first innings in fine form when Gemma McGlynn found plenty of space at centrefield and comfortably made it to first base.
She was advanced to second and then third but was the victim of a double-play effected by Kealy Bettens, Amanda Gooden and Charli Hall, giving Turvey Park the first of their five shutouts.
Hall then gave Turvey a good start to their innings with a centrefield hit.
After initially stealing to second base she was then advanced to third on a Leila Wadley hit, and became the opening score of the match thanks to a Amanda Donohue sacrifice fly.
Paris Hall, who had a fine game in the pitching role, also hit a sacrifice fly which saw Gooden follow Wadley and Hall across the plate.
The Saints' second innings was highlighted by a three-bagger to Amy Page, but she was left stranded at third when Hall K-2'd the next two batters.
A regulation three dismissals was the case for Turvey's second innings as they were quickly shut out.
A strange double play completed the Saints third innings and Turvey went to an impressive six-run lead in the bottom of the third.
Hits to Leila Wadley and Amanda Gooden, combined with smart base running saw them add another three runs to their already dominant tally.
The Saints were shut out yet again in their fourth and fifth innings, and Turvey Park, by adding another three runs in the bottom of the fourth caused the mercy rule to be applied.
Those three runs eventuated from safe hits to Jess Wendt and the Wadley girls: Jane, Leila and Phoebe.
The Saints will look forward to the bye next Saturday afternoon, while the enthusiastic young Turvey Park team will be put to the test when they look for a second straight win against the Warriors.
