After some good trialing performances, Wagga trainer Ben Talbot had high hopes for the young bitch before getting away to an average start.
However she recovered and took the shortest way home to take out the M Williams Painting & Decor Maiden (320m).
Talbot was pleased she overcame a surprisingly tardy start.
"She has trialed pretty well actually one when she drew race one box one there one one was to go," Talbot said.
"She's had a couple of trials form a couple of different boxes and has led every time but didn't lead today.
"It was a bit exciting after she missed the kick but has got up and that is the main thing.
"She showed a lot of brains and will only improve off that run."
Taking a run along the rail, Miss Batmobile ($2.30 fav) ran down past Aurora Blue ($4.20) to win by almost a length.
