An unlicenced rider caught more than 100 kilometres over the speed limit has been sniffed out by police and charged over his alleged antics.

About 11.30am on Tuesday, Riverina Highway Patrol officers received information that a black motorcycle was detected allegedly travelling at 205km/h on the Hume Highway, and then the Olympic Highway at Table Top.
Police initiated a pursuit which was terminated soon afterwards due to safety concerns. The motorcycle was found abandoned a short time later in Wagga.
A search of the area with the assistance of the Dog Unit located the rider, who was arrested and taken to Wagga Police Station.

Police checks revealed that the rider did not hold a motorcycle licence, and his NSW class C provisional drivers licence is disqualified until March 3, 2022, after previously being involved in a pursuit with police.
He was charged with driving recklessly/furiously or speed/manner dangerous (second offence), and police pursuit - not stop - drive at speed (second offence), among other offences.
He was also charged with breach of bail. The man was refused bail to appear at Wagga Local Court on Wednesday.
