Spring Family Carnival comes to Wagga, families enjoy the rides

Showman's Guild representative Gage Stewart said despite the wet weather they were thrilled with the turnout at the Wagga Showgrounds.

"I think people were excited to be able to get out and do something different," he said.

"After the rain came through on Saturday, then we got a good crowd. We had a good line at the gate.

"We are really happy with how it went."

Mr Stewart added it was great to see everyone about and enjoying carnival classics from dodge-em cars to the Ferris Wheel.

The carnival is headed to Temora and Condobolin in the coming weeks, but Mr Stewart said they hoped to return to Wagga again soon.
