The Entwine project includes $930,000 worth of works to connect the gardens and the Museum of the Riverina with new community infrastructure and facilities that are inclusive and accessible for all residents and visitors.
Project coordinator Tom Lemerle said the finishing touches on the redeveloped Brolga Pond are underway with works expected to be completed over the next two weeks.
This includes laying turf and planting vegetation with the concreting and irrigation of the pond already finished.

Mr Lemerle said that further works to the adventure play space in the Australian Native Garden were about to get underway soon.
"This work includes the final touches to BBQ shelters and mulching of the entire area," he said.
"This needs to occur before the space can be opened to the public. It's all coming along on time and on budget."
The overall project is expected to be finished by the end of this month, weather permitting.
