Kiefer Thorpe looked scattered while inside Albury Local Court on Monday, his eyes darting around the room.
He faces charges of behaving in an offensive manner in or near a public place or school, assault and resisting police.
But lawyer Dominic Holles said it was unclear how the matter would progress.

He was unable to get instructions from the accused man, much to the annoyance of magistrate Richard Funston.
He warned Thorpe not to come to court while intoxicated again, and urged him to speak to a doctor if he needed to.
Thorpe first appeared before the court on August 31 following his arrest.
He quickly walked out of the court when his matter was adjourned, only to again dart back in, then back out a short time later.
He will return to the court on October 12 for a further mention.
