Tumut then had halfback Jordan Anderson sent off for a high tackle on Aisea Taholo with 22 to play.

Gundagai didn't take advantage as Tevita Aroha-Tuinauvai and Lewis Arragon made the scoreline a little more respectable for the Blues before Jack Lyons sealed the win with his second with three minutes to play.

It capped off a big day for Gundagai who also won the reserve grade premiership despite finishing locked at 10-all with Young.
