The NSW Australian Football History Society has picked its State of Origin team for this year's AFL season.
AFL Riverina dominated the team, with 10 of the 22 players hailing from the clubs within the Riverina and Farrer League competitions.
The on-ball bridge featured Leeton-Whitton's Jacob Hopper named in the middle, while Collingullie-Glenfield Park's Matt Kennedy was named rover.
Another feature of the team was the full-back line that was all Riverina, consisting of Turvey Park's Harry Cunningham, East Wagga-Kooringal and Wagga Tigers' Dougal Howard and Collingullie-Glenfield Park's Harry Perryman.
Others to feature were Zac Williams, Isaac Smith, Luke Breust, Michael Gibbons and Harry Himmelberg.
The Hume League was represented by Culcairn's Jeremy Finlayson on the bench.
The team was selected by Richard Colless, Gerard Healy, Mike Sheahan, Mark Maclure and Wayne Carey.
Finley's Tom Hawkins won the Carey-Bunton Medal for NSW's best player of the AFL season.
The medal is based on AFL Coaches Association votes and is awarded by the society as part of it's annual awards.
Hawkins, this year's Coleman Medal winner, finished on 35 votes to edge out Gold Coast captain Jarrod Witts on 31.
Perryman was the highest of the AFL Riverina products, finishing in a tie for third on 20 votes alongside Dane Rampe.
Hopper, Smith and Howard all finished in the top 10.
