The region was hit with snow on Friday after a week of cold temperatures.
The Bureau of Meteorology puts the cool weather down to a strong cold front which crossed the state on Friday, bringing windy and cool conditions to most districts.
The weather is expected to warm up across the South West Slopes region on Sunday, with snow possible above 1100 metres and maximum temperatures between 10 and 15 degrees.
It was a cold and rainy one in Wagga on Saturday as well, with Sunday expected to be slightly warmer with a top of 15 degrees and just a five per cent chance of rain.
