Despite a slow beginning, Daryll Perrot was able to get the three-year-old off the pegs and trainer Trainer Ray Walker was pleased things went their way after favourite Adira galloped early.
"You have to have a bit of luck in racing and we had the luck," Walker said.
"She has done a good job as since the 1st of March, when she won at Coolamon, she has won eight races."
The daughter of Roll With Joe was only placed once in eight starts last season but has really developed.
"I don't know why she didn't win as a two-year-old as she always worked nice but just couldn't put it together on race day," Walker said.
Gee Gee Blinxs finished second for Wayne Sullivan.
In the colts and geldings heat Master Jude secured an all-the-way win to progress to the next stage.
It was his 10th win for Col Thomas.
Blake Jones was the winning driver with Bathurst visitor Mat Rue finishing second with Beast Mode.

RUSTY Crackers broke through the $100,000 in earnings mark after delivering trainer Brooke McPherson her first Menangle win on Saturday.
Trips along the Hume Highway paid off for the Jindera couple as Tom Gilligan piloted the six-year-old to success.
"We've been going a few times now and him and the driver are probably starting to get used to the style of racing up there," Gilligan said.
"Everything just panned out the other day."
The win comes off the back of two placings in his last three starts at Menangle following a win at Wagga.
He clocked a new career best mile rate of 1:51.4 in the process.

ALABAMA Tiff broke through for her first win at her 43rd attempt.
The eight-year-old proved too strong at Young on Tuesday night, handing owner and trainer Rodney Lemon some reward for his patience.
The mare had been placed in three of her last eight starts heading into the breakthrough.
The daughter of Art Major had her first race almost four years ago but was able to lead all the way for reinsman Blake Jones.

A NUMBER of fines and reprimands have been handed out after new whip rules were introduced on September 1.
Four reprimands were handed out at Wagga on the first night of the changes, another three at Leeton, plus a $200 fine for James McPherson, and six reprimands were handed out at Wagga.
McPherson was also fined $400 and Bayley Duck $200 for breaking rule 156 at the meeting last week.
At Young on Tuesday after four reprimands were dished out with Jess Prior fined $200.

PACING heads to Leeton on Friday with an eight-race card assembled with the first race is at 1.12pm.
Albury is also set to race on Tuesday.
