Both Gundagai halfback Derek Hay and Tumut hooker Lachlan Bristow are expected to be scrutinised for an incident after the final play of the game at Twickenham on Sunday.
The pair are facing potential striking charges after clashing at the end of Gundagai's 8-6 win.
The match review committee will look at the actions of both players on Monday.
Bristow potentially being sidelined would be a massive blow for Tumut's premiership defence, which now hangs on downing Young in the preliminary final at Anzac Park on Sunday.
The co-coach is instrumental to his team's chances as they look to regroup.
Coming off a tight win over Gundagai to win the minor premiership, Blues co-coach Dean Bristow was disappointed they couldn't take advantage of playing at home.
However he thought the side did well to stay so close.
"We should have been beaten by more," Bristow said.
"Realistically they should have beaten us by 20.
"I thought that we beat ourselves by giving them too many chances and fatigued ourselves with all the defence we done.
"We didn't give ourselves the chance to win a game of footy."
Tumut had a number of chances late, especially after Damian Willis was sin binned with 11 minutes to play.
However they lacked creativity to make their numerical advantage count on the scoreboard.
"We really gassed ourselves and turned up for each other in the first half and were just too gassed at the end," Bristow said.
"We ran out of steam to throw anything at them when we had limited opportunities."
It is the second year in a row Tumut have been beaten in a final at Twickenham to be forced to go the hard way.
It means a try to Anzac Park to take on a Young outfit who have won their last four games.
Tumut dominated the Cherrypickers in their clash at Twickenham earlier this season, scoring a 40-12 win in round three.
While the Blues welcomed back Adam Pearce from injury, and had Austin McDougall come off the bench, Jacob Toppin and Jacob Sturt both didn't play.
Bristow is looking to access the team's injuries before focusing on their last chance to make the grand final.
"We will sit down and reassess where everyone is at, try to recuperate and go again," he said.
"That is the key to it.
"We gave ourselves a second chance so we just have to make sure we capitalise on it, turn up down there next week against a red hot Young and try to book that other spot in the grand final."
