So far this morning, the Bureau of Meteorology has recorded a total of 2.4mm of rain as at 9am, with an 80 per cent chance of a steady stream to continue over the day.
Skies are looking to clear at about 4pm into the evening.
Temperatures are forecast to reach a top of 18 degrees today, made to feel cooler as light north to northwesterly winds blow through the city.
